Learning objectives:

1.      To know about the names of the animals: bear,tiger,monkey,panda

2.      To ask yes/no questions to elicit simple responses : Is this a…?

3.      To use formulaic expressions to confirm or deny:Yes./No.It’s a panda.

Difficulties:

1.      Pronouncing the key words correctly.

2.      Using the key pattern to talk about the animals correctly.

T: Play the video, and have the students enjoy.

Activity 2: Introduce the topic

1. T:Listen!What’s this?Is this a bear?

Sn:No.It’ a tiger.

2. Ss:Read the word.

3.T: What do you think of this tiger?.

4.Say the rhyme:

Big tiger,small tiger. One and two.

Big tiger,small tiger. I see you

 

Activity 3: act and say

1. T:(act) Hello! I’m a monkey.

2. Ss:Read the word.

3.Ss:Act as the monkey.

4. T:How many monkeys?

Ss:One, two,…ten. Ten monkeys.

5.Sing the song: Ten little monkeys

 

Activity 4: Listen and guess

1.T:(Show the shadow of the panda)Look at this anima.It’s fat.Is this a bear? Is this a pig? Is this ..?

2. Ss:Read the word.

3.Say the rhyme:

A panda, a monkey. One and two.

A panda,a monkey. I see you.

4.Make the new rhymes using the new words

 

Activity 5: Games

1.Guess by lips-shape.

2.Read and clap.

3.Missing game.

以儿歌形式,配以形容词的描述,既是对刚才学习内容的巩固。又对下节课的综合描述做一铺垫

猴子是学生非常喜爱的一种小动物,通过演一演,唱一唱的形式,可以极大的激发学生的学习热情.

熟悉的儿歌韵律,在调动学生学习热情的同时,又激发了学生的语言创造力。

 

通过不同形式的游戏,层层递进,复习新学单词.

 

 

出示一小部分身体,让学生猜一猜是什么动物,引出今天的新授句型。

再通过不同图片,不同回答,操练此句型。

学生在玩牌的过程中,既运用了今天的新学句型和单词,有复习了前一单元的小动物名称,温故而知新.

活动2通过猜一猜的形式,将所学的句型加以综合运用,提升了学生的语言知识与技能。
