Background study and material analyse:

1.我所任教的是二(3)班,学生已经有了1年半的小学英语学习经历,大部分学生已具备了初步的词句听说、认读能力。由于学生均为外来务工子女,因此在语音发音上略显不足,且学生鲜有在课外参加英语兴趣班的经历,但学生的学习热情比较高涨。目前学生已经学习了有关野生动物名称的单词,:bear,fox,hippo,panda,lion,monkey,在本单元第一课时又学习了以下四个单词:elephant,zebra,snake,giraffe,学生能够在单数情况下用to be,can,以及like的句式简单描述动物。学生将在这节课中学习两个动物名称:whale,leopard以及身体器官名称:neck,body,并能在复数情况下用to be,can,like ,to have的句式简单介绍动物。

    2.根据牛津教材螺旋上升,主题复现的教材编写体系,在二年级上侧重于单数的表达,学生会用以上句式描述小动物,并体会到小动物的可爱,而在二年级下则侧重于复数的表达,并增加to have 的句式,学生能够了解不同的动物有不同的特性。
