Task: To introduce our favourite holidays.

本课时是这个unit的第三课时课时,语用任务是用名词词组,动词词组和一般现在时态来描述节日中人们吃的食物和参加的活动,并与他人分享自己最喜欢的节日。为后面的课时中相互讨论最喜欢的节日提供了语言基础。

在本课时中,通过谈论复活节的活动,帮助学生复习动词词组和一般现在时态,并以此导入本课主题“Halloween”,即万圣节。本课时新授语言知识点是用名词词组,动词动词组和一般现在时,来谈论万圣节的日期,特色,食物和活动。涉及到的新词有:jack-o’-lantern, pumpkin pies, pumpkin bread, ‘fancy-dress’ party, dress like monsters。学生通过视听感知,信息提炼,集体仿读,同伴对话,小组讨论,独立测试、合作交流等形式,进行语言的习得和运用。通过主体文本的学习,不仅能谈论万圣节的活动。而且通过mindmap训练了学生的逻辑思维能力,使学生能更好地理解和运用新的知识。在这种非常贴近学生生活的语境中,学生将旧知与新知融会贯通,也得到了愉悦的生活体验。
